C2 massage seat issue

Experiencing an issue with my 2006 Citroen C2's massage seat, it's a gasoline engine. The massage function cannot be switched on, and an error is stored. The car has 159841 km on the clock. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered something similar?

Hey! I had a similar problem with the massage seat in my C2 a while back. Is it just completely dead, or does it try to start and then fail? And did the error code give you any more specifics?

Thanks for your reply. It is completely dead, no sign of life. I'm afraid the error code wasn't very specific, just indicating a general fault with the system.

Okay, that sounds exactly like what happened to mine. I fiddled around with it for a bit, checking fuses and connections, but in the end, I just took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a loose connection in the seat itself. I'd suggest doing the same to avoid making things worse.
