C2 NOx Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Citroen C2 with a gasoline engine displayed a check engine light due to a NOx sensor error, possibly linked to an exhaust leak. The issue might stem from a faulty sensor or a leak near the sensor. Tightening the sensor or replacing it resolved similar issues for others, and in this case, replacing the faulty sensor fixed the problem.

Yeah, the exhaust seems to be leaking near the sensor. The plug looked fine when I checked it. How did you fix it?

Mine was leaking where the sensor screws in. Tightening it stopped the leak, but the light stayed on. The sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. If you smell exhaust, a workshop can confirm it quickly.

Took it to a workshop, and they said the NOx sensor was faulty. Repair was 95€. Replaced the sensor, and it's all good now.

I've got a C2 as well. Something similar happened to me. Is the exhaust leaking near the sensor? Did you check the sensor's plug?
