C2 Washer Fluid Warning Light Stays On
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Citroen C2 had a persistent low washer fluid warning light, despite the reservoir being full, and the windshield washer system was non-functional. The issue was identified as a faulty washer motor, which was confirmed by a stored error in the error memory. The solution involved replacing the washer motor, which resolved the problem.

Thanks! Where is the washer motor located? Is it easy to get to and check myself, or do I need special tools?

It's usually attached to the washer fluid reservoir. If you aren't used to car repairs, I would just go to the workshop. I had the same symptoms, the washer motor burned. A new one was about 25€ including the replacement.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a local workshop, and it was indeed the washer motor. New one installed for 25€. Problem solved!

I had something similar in my C2. Washer fluid low warning even with a full reservoir. It was like the car was crying wolf! Check the washer motor; sometimes they fail, or the sensor gets gunked up.
