C3 Keyless Access Problem

My 2005 Citroen C3 with a gasoline engine is playing up. The keyless access has stopped working, and I've got an error stored pointing towards the door handle electronics. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm suspecting a dodgy cable or plug connection somewhere in the door mechanism.

I had something similar with my C3, although I never scanned for any error codes. Is it both doors or just one? For me, it was just the driver's side. Drove me nuts!

Interesting! It's just the driver's door on mine too. Did you manage to sort it yourself, or did you end up taking it to a professional?

Nah, I'm not that brave when it comes to car electrics! Took it straight to a workshop. They said it was something with the door mechanism itself. Cost me a few quid, but at least it's working again now.

Sounds like I'll be heading to the workshop too. Just got the car back; turns out it was a defective plug connection and the grand total came to 95€. Not too bad, I suppose.
