C30 Driver Seat Massage Failure

My 2012 Volvo C30 with a gasoline engine (132,876 km) has a broken massage function in the driver's seat. It can't be switched on, and there's an error code. Anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking it's a defective cable or plug connection, like a loose wire. Any ideas before I dig in?

No, there were no unusual noises. It just stopped working. Did you ever find out what the issue was on your C30?

Mine was making a clicking sound, so might be different. I didn't mess with it myself, just took it to a shop. They fixed it pretty quick.
