C4 Electric Air Suspension Failure

I'm having trouble with my 2023 Citroen C4 electric. The air suspension seems to have failed after 92737 km. The car won't lift, it's leaning, and I'm getting suspension error messages. The headlights are pointing high. I checked the error memory and saw a fault related to the compressor. Anyone experienced something similar?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Citroen C4 electric experienced air suspension failure after 92,737 km, with symptoms including the car not lifting, leaning, and suspension error messages. The issue was traced to a fault related to the compressor. After a visual inspection for leaks showed nothing obvious, it was suggested that the problem might be a cable or plug connection issue. The problem was resolved by fixing a loose connector, allowing the car to function properly again.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Oh, that sounds rough! Citroen C4s are usually pretty reliable. Air suspension issues can be a real pain. Have you checked for any obvious air leaks around the suspension struts or the compressor itself? I mean, you already checked the error memory which sounds pretty pro, but maybe something simple got missed?

Thanks for the reply! I did a quick visual inspection for leaks, but didn't see anything obvious. Do you know if there are any specific points where leaks are common, or if there is a way I can test the system without specialized tools?

No problem, happy to help! Honestly, without proper tools, it's tough to pinpoint air leaks. It DOES sound like a potential cable or plug connection issue (that was the error I had!). If it’s not obviously leaking air, and considering the electrical error code, it might be time to get a professional to take a look. It's frustrating, I know, but electrical gremlins can be a nightmare. At least you've had a look yourself, so you are a bit ahead of the game!

Appreciate the help! I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on: a loose connector was the culprit. Repair cost 95€. I am back on the road!
