C5 engine fault rail pressure sensor
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Citroen C5 hybrid is experiencing a check engine light, stalling at idle, and reduced engine power, with a diagnostic scan indicating a faulty rail pressure sensor signal. The issue may be due to a defective rail pressure sensor, as suggested by another individual who faced a similar problem. The recommended solution is to have the sensor checked and potentially replaced by a professional mechanic.

It seems to be happening randomly. I haven't noticed any trigger, but I will pay attention if temperature makes a difference. What was the error code you were getting?

I think it was the same, something with the fuel rail pressure sensor. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much. These hybrid systems can be finicky. I took mine straight to a trusted mechanic. Turned out the sensor was defective. Got it replaced, cost me around 240€. Problem solved.

Thanks for the advice. I will take it to a shop. Looks like the pressure sensor is the culprit. I appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my C5, scared me! Check engine light flashing. Was it happening randomly, or is there something that triggers it? For me, it was worse when the engine was cold.
