C5 Sun Blind Problem
Summary of the thread
The sun blind on a 2006 Citroen C5 diesel is stuck and not retracting, with an error stored. The issue might be due to a dead motor, as there is no noise when attempting to operate the blind. Checking fuses and obstructions yielded no results, suggesting that replacing the motor at a workshop may be necessary to resolve the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, the fuses are fine. I've checked for obstructions but can't see anything. The motor makes no noise at all when I try to move the blind. Does that mean it's likely a dead motor?

Sounds like a dead motor, which is what happened to mine. I couldn't fix it myself and had to take it to a workshop. They replaced the motor, and that sorted it.

Thanks for the help. I suspected the motor. I'll book it into a workshop to get it sorted.

I had a similar issue with my C5's blind. Have you checked the fuses or looked for obstructions? Does the motor make any noise when you try to use it?
