C6 fuel pressure sensor issue

Fuel pump issues on the C6 aren't uncommon. Have you checked the fuel pressure sensor? Stalling and rough running could indicate a faulty sensor. Also, have you scanned for any specific error codes relating to fuel pressure or injector performance?

Fuel pressure sensor, huh? I didn't think about that. Where is that thing located anyway? And would a bad sensor really cause all those problems? Fuel economy has also gone down the drain, could the fuel injector be involved?

The sensor is usually on the fuel rail. Yes, a defective fuel pressure sensor can cause those symptoms, leading to miscalculated fuel mixture. Given the symptoms, the cable or plug connection to the sensor is a likely culprit. Check this, or leave it be and visit a workshop.
