C6 Tailgate Hall Sensor Issue

I had a similar problem with my C6, though I didn't check the error memory myself. The tailgate would only open part way, and sometimes not at all. It's an electrical sensor issue, most likely. Is it perhaps a faulty sensor calibration?

In my case, the symptoms were remarkably similar. Considering the error code and the incomplete opening, the hall sensor seems the most probable culprit. However, given the fault could stem from defective wiring, I would suggest having the connections checked at a workshop before replacing the sensor itself. Okay, thanks for the advice! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a local shop and ask them to specifically check the wiring and connections before replacing the sensor. They quoted me 95€ for repair including sensor replacement, but hopefully, it will be cheaper if it's just a wiring issue.
