Connections, huh? Where exactly should I be looking? Is it something easily accessible, or am I going to need ramps and a whole toolbox? I'm not exactly a mechanic, you know?

On the Audi, the compressor was near one of the rear wheels, tucked up inside the wheel well. Might be a similar setup on the Volvo. It's worth a peek, but honestly, if you're not comfortable poking around, it's probably best to get it to a workshop. Air suspension can be tricky and if it is the compressor, it might require specialist tools to diagnose. I ended up taking mine in. Saved a lot of headaches!

Okay, cheers for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on – it was a dodgy cable connection to the compressor. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Much appreciated!

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my old Audi A6. The whole car dropped on one side, and the lights were doing their own thing. Have you checked the connections to the compressor? A faulty plug or cable can cause all sorts of mayhem. Suspension components are usually quite robust, but the electrics... well, they're another story, aren't they?
