C70 outside temperature sensor issue

I own a 2004 Volvo C70 with a gasoline engine and I'm experiencing issues with the outside temperature sensor. The error is stored in the error memory. The air conditioning isn't switching on, spray nozzles are freezing, and mirror heating isn't working. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. What could be the issue?

I had a similar problem with my C70. The outside temperature reading was completely off, affecting the AC and other systems. Have you checked the sensor itself for any physical damage or corrosion? It's usually located near the front of the car.
