C70 power window failure
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2008 Volvo C70, the power windows stopped functioning, and an error related to window regulator initialization was noted. The issue may stem from the car's computer losing track of the window motor positions. Suggested solutions include performing a reset procedure or consulting a workshop for electronic re-initialization, which ultimately resolved the problem.

Thanks. Could you explain the reset procedures you tried? Was there a specific sequence or method that worked for you?

I tried different button combinations and ignition sequences, but nothing worked reliably on my Opel. It's best to take it to a workshop for a proper electronic reset with diagnostic tools. The error code might give the mechanic a hint. It could save you troubleshooting time.

I appreciate the input. I visited a workshop, and they said the window regulator needed re-initialization. The repair cost 290€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I had a similar problem with my 2012 Opel Astra after disconnecting the battery. The power windows and other electronics acted up. The car's computer sometimes 'forgets' the window motor positions. Have you tried any reset procedures for the windows, or checked the door panel wiring for damage? The window switch might be the issue.
