C70 Tire Pressure ABS Power Steering

I'm having a recurring issue with my 2011 Volvo C70, gasoline engine. About 36024 km on it. Recently, the tire pressure warning light came on. At the same time, the ABS lamp is on, the steering wheel vibrates, and it takes more effort to steer, maybe power steering failure. Could a bad tire valve cause all this?

Interesting. I had a similar scare with my C70. Got the low tire warning. Did you check the pressure manually with a tire gauge? Could be a faulty sensor.

Thanks. I used a tire gauge and the pressure was low. Could a simple air leak really cause the ABS and power steering issues, or is it likely a bigger problem?

Okay, if the gauge confirms low pressure AND you're getting those other symptoms, it's beyond a simple sensor glitch. I'd suspect a faster leak than you'd think. Still, with all those systems acting up I went straight to the shop. Seriously, get it checked.

Thanks. It was a defective valve causing a rapid air leak, which the system thought was a more serious fault, triggering the ABS and power steering alerts. Repair cost was 280€. Thanks for confirming my suspicions and recommending a professional inspection.
