C8 Automatic Transmission Fault

I have a 2005 Citroen C8, gasoline engine. The automatic transmission parking position seems defective. The engine does not start, the check engine light is on, and the gearbox slips. Error is also stored in the error memory. Could it be related to the neutral position?

Thank you for your help; it was indeed the control unit, as suspected. Repair cost was around 1000€.
