C8 cruise control failure

Hello. I had a similar problem with my C8 a while back. Does the error memory store any error messages? In my case, it turned out to be a defective connection in the steering wheel area. Like a kink in the garden hose, restricting the flow.

Yes, I was referring to the clock spring. While it is possible to fix it yourself, unless you are comfortable working with airbags, it is best to leave it to a workshop. They have the tools and expertise to do it safely. Otherwise, like trying to catch a greased pig, it can get messy and frustrating very quickly.

OK, thanks. I checked the error memory and there was an error stored. I took it to a local workshop and they said it was a defective cable. The repair cost was 95€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
