Camry Hybrid Brake Pedal Feedback

I drive a Camry Hybrid too, and I had something kinda similar happen. It felt like the brake pedal was fighting back, almost like pushing against a strong spring. Did you check your brake fluid level and the condition of your brake shoes? Those were the first things I looked at.

The weird feedback was pretty consistent for me, especially at lower speeds. It wasn't a smooth stop. I didn't dive too deep myself. After checking the basics, I took it straight to a workshop. Saved me a lot of headache. They sorted it out pretty quick.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a technician. It was worn brake components made worse by the hybrid system's regenerative braking, and the undervoltage suspicion was right. The repair, including new parts, cost 240€.
