Camry Multifunction Steering Wheel Failure

I'm having an issue with my 2015 Toyota Camry with a gasoline engine. At around 56486 km, the multifunction steering wheel stopped working. Diagnostics show a possible fault in the steering controls. Any ideas?

I have a Camry, too, and ran into something similar. Are none of the steering controls working? Like, can you not adjust the volume or use cruise control from the wheel?

That's correct. The operation of the multifunction steering wheel is completely non-functional. Volume, cruise control, and other steering wheel functions are unresponsive. Can you tell me more about your experience and how it was fixed?

Yep, that's precisely what happened to mine. I'd bet it's a defective cable connection inside the steering wheel itself. If it's the same thing, a workshop visit is likely in order.

Thanks for the insight. I had it inspected at a workshop, and they confirmed a defective cable connection within the steering wheel, like you said. The repair cost 95€ and fixed the issue. Thanks for your help.
