Camry NOx Sensor Exhaust Leak
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Toyota Camry owner is experiencing a check engine light with a NOx sensor error and a small exhaust leak. The issue may be due to a faulty cable or plug, potentially affecting the air-fuel ratio. A similar case was resolved by replacing the NOx sensor, suggesting that consulting a mechanic for a diagnostic and repair is advisable.

That's interesting. Can you give me more details about what your Camry was doing and what you checked? Was the error code exactly the same, pointing to the NOx sensor? Did you also see an exhaust leak?

Yep, NOx sensor code was the same. I didn't look into it too much myself; I just took it to a shop. They said the sensor was bad and replaced it. Did you think about taking it to a mechanic?

Thanks for sharing what happened with yours. I'm going to take it to a mechanic. The diagnostic pointed to a faulty connection and the repair was 95€.

Check engine light, huh? My Camry's been throwing codes too. Similar thing – exhaust smell and all. NOx sensor, you say? I wonder if it's a common problem with these cars. Is yours burning more fuel than normal?
