Captiva Drivers Seat Massage Not Working
Summary of the thread
The massage function on a 2011 Chevrolet Captiva driver's seat was not working, with the switch being unresponsive. A scan revealed an electrical fault in the seat motor circuit. The issue was resolved by checking the wiring harness under the seat, where a loose connector was found and reconnected, restoring the massage function.

Thanks. I didn't write down the code, but it pointed to an electrical fault in the seat motor circuit. No strange noises, and everything else seems fine. Is it likely a faulty switch or the seat motor itself?

Given no strange noises and the error code indicating an electrical issue in the seat motor circuit, it's plausible the problem is the switch or a cable/plug connection. Without a thorough diagnosis, it's hard to know. Consulting a qualified technician is prudent.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I checked the wiring harness under the seat and found a loose connector. I cleaned it, plugged it back in, and the massage function is working again! The invoice was 95€.

Greetings. Could you elaborate on the specific error code from the scan? Are there any unusual noises from the seat area, or any other electrical components acting strangely?
