Yeah man, exactly! TBH, I wasn't able to fix it myself. After messing with it for a bit I took it to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quick. Best bet is to get it checked professionally before you fry something.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the shop and you were right - it was a defective cable. Cost me 95€. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction!

Dude, I had something similar happen in my Captiva! Was it like a voltage drop issue? Maybe check the relay switch or even the battery terminal connection. Could be a break in the wiring harness too.
