Captur crankshaft camshaft error

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked the timing belt myself, no. The car has about 244829 km on the clock. Did you also get that crankshaft error code?

Yes, it was the same error. I'd suggest taking it to a reputable workshop to get it checked out properly. It could be a faulty crank sensor throwing everything off. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on – it was the crank sensor. Replaced it and all is well again. Total cost was 340€. Appreciate the help!

I had something similar happen with my Captur. Same symptoms, reduced power and the light. Have you checked the timing belt? Is the mileage high?
