Captur Hybrid Knock Sensor Issue

My 2022 Renault Captur hybrid is acting up. Check engine light, terrible fuel consumption, and rough idle. Mileage is at 107008 km. Thinking it's the knock sensor, maybe a bad cable or plug? Anyone seen this?

I had something similar with my Captur, though mine's petrol. Engine malfunction light and weird ignition timing. Did you check the sensor connections?

I wiggled the connections and used contact cleaner, but nothing changed. Was your warning light always on, and was the fuel consumption a lot worse?

The warning light was always on! Sounds like what I had. Get it checked at a workshop to pinpoint it. Could be the sensor or something more serious.

Booked a diagnostic check and it was the knock sensor! Defective cable like I thought. Cost 95€ to fix, but it's done now.
