Captur Hybrid Knock Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Captur hybrid exhibited issues such as a check engine light, poor fuel consumption, and rough idling at 107,008 km. The suspected cause was a faulty knock sensor, possibly due to a bad cable or plug. After a diagnostic check, it was confirmed that the problem was indeed a defective knock sensor cable, which was subsequently repaired.

I wiggled the connections and used contact cleaner, but nothing changed. Was your warning light always on, and was the fuel consumption a lot worse?

The warning light was always on! Sounds like what I had. Get it checked at a workshop to pinpoint it. Could be the sensor or something more serious.

Booked a diagnostic check and it was the knock sensor! Defective cable like I thought. Cost 95€ to fix, but it's done now.

I had something similar with my Captur, though mine's petrol. Engine malfunction light and weird ignition timing. Did you check the sensor connections?
