Captur Hybrid Oil Contamination

Has anyone experienced engine oil contamination in their 2022 Renault Captur Hybrid around 105848 km? A warning light illuminated, and the oil pressure lamp is on intermittently, even though I followed the maintenance schedule.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Captur too, and I had almost the EXACT same thing happen last year. The oil pressure light kept coming on, and I was freaking out. How often are you checking your oil level? Could you have a slow leak somewhere?

I routinely check the oil level, and it seems fine. I haven't seen any leaks. Can you share more about your experience, like what diagnostic steps were taken?

Okay, so I was religious about checking the oil, too! No visible leaks either. Honestly, I was stumped and just took it straight to the workshop. They ran some tests and that's when they told me the oil was contaminated. I'm no expert, but they seemed to know what they were doing.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicions. It seems the maintenance schedule wasn't enough for my driving conditions. The oil was degraded, so I had a complete oil change and filter replacement. It cost 165€.
