Thanks for the quick reply! I only checked the plug and wiring myself, gave it a little wiggle. How did you determine if the sensor or the wiring was the problem?

Well, in my case, after similar symptoms, I brought it to a workshop. They identified the same error: oil level sensor/signal faulty, likely cause being a defective cable or plug connection. Replacing the sensor and fixing the connection cost me around 95€. I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed to be sure.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a workshop as you suggested, and you were spot on. It was indeed a faulty connection to the oil level sensor. They fixed the wiring, and the error is gone now. Appreciate your help!

I had a similar issue with my Renault Captur (don't remember the year exactly, sorry). The oil monitoring system went haywire. Was it definitely the sensor itself, or did they check the wiring?
