Check Engine Light and Exhaust Leak GLC Issues

My 2020 Mercedes GLC with a gasoline engine has a check engine light. I suspect an exhaust leak. Has anyone experienced this?

I had something similar with my GLC. The check engine light came on, and it was a faulty NOx sensor. I didn't notice any exhaust leaks. Was the error code specifically pointing to the NOx sensor? What engine do you have?

Error memory says NOx sensor failure. I inspected it and the exhaust system, and I believe the exhaust is leaking from the sensor. Do you remember what the fix was for yours? Was it just the sensor, or something else?

Ah, gasoline engine, I should have clarified that mine is a diesel engine. The fix was just replacing the sensor, but the mechanic mentioned that a bad cable or plug connection can also cause the sensor to fail. Since you're seeing an exhaust leak too, and the error points to the sensor, I would suggest visiting a workshop.

I found a defective cable and plug connection. Repair cost 95€. Your input helped narrow down the issue!
