Chevrolet Groove engine stalls and check engine light

Hi, I have a 2023 Chevrolet Groove with a gasoline engine. Recently the check engine light came on, and the engine sometimes stalls when idling. The car has 104236 km. Could this be related to a fuel tank ventilation system leak?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Chevrolet Groove is experiencing engine stalling and a check engine light, potentially linked to a fuel tank ventilation system leak. Error codes suggest an issue with the EVAP system, possibly due to a defective activated charcoal filter. A similar case was resolved by addressing emission control and pressure sensor issues, with a recommendation to seek professional repair.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hey! I had a similar problem with my Groove. Check engine and stalling... Sounds very similar. I think it's something with the EVAP system, isn't it? Did you check the error codes?

Yes, I checked the error codes, and they point to the EVAP system. I suspect a defective activated charcoal filter. But are you sure that it's the same problem that you had?

Pretty sure it's the same issue. I remember something about emission control and the pressure sensor giving weird readings. The air flow was also off. In the end, I took it to a workshop, it's better like that. Costed 275€ to repair.

OK, thanks for the advice! I'll take it to a workshop as well. I'll give feedback with the resolution after the repair.
