I haven't dug that deep yet. Which cable and plug connections exactly are you referring to? Are there any specific areas that are known to be problematic on these cars? I was thinking about probing the ignition switch with a multimeter next.

In my particular situation, the deficiency was located within the wiring harness connected to the ignition switch. However, given the complexities of automotive electrical systems, it would be advisable to seek counsel from a qualified automotive technician. This measure may prevent inadvertent complications. I ended up going to a workshop after struggling for weeks.

Thanks for the input! I was hoping it was something simple I could fix myself, but sounds like this Terminal 15 thing is more involved. I'll bite the bullet and take it to the shop. They quoted me around 95€, which seems reasonable considering the headache it's been giving me. Appreciate the help!

I empathize with your predicament, as I encountered a similar issue with my 2018 Opel Insignia. The symptoms you describe mirror those I experienced. Have you inspected the pertinent cable and plug connections? It would be prudent to ascertain the integrity of these components.
