CHR dashboard lights issue

I own a Toyota CHR as well, though not the hybrid. I had some problems with faulty lighting a while back. Have you checked the fuse box? The automotive switch cable or plug connection might be defective.

It's usually under the dashboard, but honestly, these systems can be tricky. My issue turned out to be a faulty connection deep within the wiring harness. If you're not comfortable digging around, I'd recommend a workshop. I paid 95€ to get mine sorted.
