CHR Hybrid Engine Trouble

My 2020 Toyota CHR Hybrid with 86981 km is running unevenly, and the check engine light is on. There's also an error stored and a jerking sensation during acceleration. Could this be rough idle, timing belt, fuel injectors, spark plugs, or the air filter?

Hey, I've got a CHR Hybrid too. Sounds like a problem I had. Did you check for any exhaust leaks? Even a small one can mess with the engine's performance and trigger those symptoms.

Thanks for the suggestion. An exhaust leak hadn't occurred to me. Is there a particular area of the exhaust system that is more prone to leaks on the CHR?

Not sure about a specific spot, but leaks often happen around joints and welds. Honestly, it's tough to pinpoint without a proper inspection. Best bet is to get it on a lift at a workshop. They can do a smoke test to find it quickly.

Thank you for the advice. I took the vehicle to a local workshop, and as suspected, they identified a leak in the exhaust system. The repair cost was 265€. The issue has now been resolved.
