Thanks! I visually inspected the accessible vacuum lines, but haven't done a pressure test. Could a minor leak cause such pronounced symptoms?

Yeah, even a tiny leak can throw things off with those sensors. Honestly, with those symptoms, it's probably best to get it checked out by a pro. They've got the tools to find those sneaky leaks and properly diagnose the sensor itself. Could save you money in the long run!

I consulted a technician, who confirmed the pressure sensor failure and a vacuum leak. The repair, including sensor replacement, was 235€.

Whoa, that sounds rough! A bad MAP sensor can mess things up big time. Have you tried checking all the vacuum lines for cracks or disconnections? Sometimes it's just a simple fix, fingers crossed!
