CHR warning lights and oil pressure issue

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2016 Toyota CHR hybrid. The warning light popped up on the speedometer! It's showing an error in the memory, and the oil pressure warning lamp keeps lighting up. I'm guessing it's something with the oil, but levels are fine. Anyone else run into this?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen in my CHR. I was going crazy trying to figure it out! I remember it was some kind of automotive sensor issue, but I can't put my finger on it... Was there anything specific that triggered it, or did it just randomly start happening?

That's wild! No, it just started happening out of nowhere. I was driving normally, and then BAM, lights everywhere! You said sensor... was it difficult to fix?

Okay, so it probably is what I had. From what I remember, it was the engine oil temperature sensor acting up. The cable or plug connection was defective. I’d say take it to a workshop; they should be able to diagnose and fix it pretty quickly. I ended up paying around 95€ for the repair.

Awesome, thanks so much for the info! I'll take it to a workshop and mention the oil temperature sensor and the cable/plug connection. Hopefully, it's an easy fix like yours! Really appreciate the help!
