Cima Air Suspension Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2021 Nissan Cima hybrid is experiencing air suspension failure, with the vehicle not lifting and leaning noticeably. Error messages and warning lights are present, and the low beams are misaligned. The issue may be due to a defective cable or plug connection. A similar problem in another vehicle was resolved by checking the compressor fuse and relay, but ultimately, the Cima's issue was fixed by repairing a defective cable at a cost of 95€.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Where exactly is the fuse for the compressor located, and how can I check it? I want to be sure I'm looking in the right spot before I start disassembling things.

On my old 5 series, the fusebox was in the trunk, near the battery. Consult your owner's manual for the exact location in your Cima, as it may differ. Use a multimeter to test for continuity. Given the severity of your symptoms and the potential for further damage, I'd suggest consulting a trusted mechanic, especially if you're not comfortable with electrical diagnostics. Sometimes, it's best to leave it to professionals.

Understood. Thanks for confirming my suspicion about the air suspension. I'll book an appointment with a reputable workshop to investigate the electrical connections and the compressor. It turned out to be a defective cable, which cost 95€ to fix. Thanks again!

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my 2018 BMW 5 series. The air suspension went haywire. The symptoms you describe resonate. In my case, it was a faulty compressor relay, but it started with similar warning signs. Did you check the fuse for the compressor?
