Cima temperature sensor issues
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Nissan Cima is experiencing issues with the outside temperature sensor, leading to an error message, non-functional A/C, frozen windshield washer nozzles, and non-working mirror heating. The problem is suspected to be a bad cable or plug connection rather than the sensor itself. A similar case was resolved by addressing a faulty connection, likely due to corrosion, suggesting that a professional inspection and repair might be the best course of action.

Yeah, I checked the fuses, they seem fine. It's weird that all these systems are tied together. Was it the actual sensor that needed replacing, or was it really just a cable issue for you?

Honestly, I didn't even bother messing with it myself. I took it straight to the shop. They said it was a faulty connection, just like you suspected. Probably corrosion or something. They sorted it out pretty quick.

Okay, awesome, that's a relief! I was dreading some complicated sensor calibration. Knowing it's likely just a connection problem makes me feel a ton better. I'll get it booked in at the shop, sounds like that's the smartest move. Thanks for the help!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Cima! All those things acting up at once is a dead giveaway. Did you check the obvious stuff like fuses?
