Thanks for the reply! The clutch pedal feels completely normal, no strange resistance or noises. I'm not sure what to check regarding the cable or plug. Where exactly is this switch located, and how can I test it?

Given that the pedal feel is normal, the issue is likely electrical rather than mechanical. Unfortunately, diagnosing electrical faults without the proper tools and expertise can be tricky. The clutch switch is typically located near the top of the clutch pedal arm, but access can be restricted. It might be best to have a workshop check the switch and its wiring with proper diagnostic equipment. If it is just the switch, the repair should be around 95€.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop. You were right, it was the clutch pedal switch. Apparently, there was a bad connection. They replaced the switch, and everything is working as it should now.

The symptoms you describe suggest a potential issue with the clutch pedal switch, specifically its cable or plug connection. A faulty switch can indeed trigger a cascade of errors, impacting systems like cruise control and the gear selection display. I had similar issues on my old Volvo a few years back. Does depressing the clutch feel normal, or is there any unusual resistance or clicking sound?
