Citan diesel cylinder pressure fluctuation issue

No unusual noises that I've noticed, and no visible leaks. But, if you had a similar issue, what was the root cause in your case? Was it also flagged as cylinder pressure fluctuation?

Yes, the diagnostics pointed to cylinder pressure issues too. I spent ages worrying about the camshaft and all sorts. Honestly, with these modern diesels, it can be a sensor or something equally daft causing the whole cascade of errors. I’d strongly suggest getting it hooked up to a proper diagnostic system at a reputable workshop. It's better than chasing shadows.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to a workshop as suggested. Turns out the cylinder pressure fluctuation was indeed a consequential error. A faulty sensor was causing the problem. Repair cost: 0€ under warranty.

Fluctuating cylinder pressure, eh? I had something similar with my Citan. Higher fuel consumption and that dreaded check engine light. Did you notice any unusual noises, like engine knocking, before the light came on? Have you checked for any obvious leaks, maybe around the head gasket? I'd be surprised if it's the turbocharger or crankshaft right away, but who knows?
