Citan electrical issues and battery sensor

My 2021 Mercedes Citan with a gasoline engine is having electrical issues. It's getting weak starts, and the lights flicker at idle. I suspect the battery. I've done some basic testing and it seems like there's a low voltage issue. Could the battery sensor be acting up?

Flickering lights sound familiar. I had a similar problem with my Citan. A bad battery sensor, you think? Did you check the battery?

The battery is in good condition. What symptoms did you experience? Was the sensor definitely causing the low voltage?

Yeah, same symptoms: weak starts, lights acting crazy. I took it in, and the diagnostics pointed to the battery sensor. Replacing it fixed everything.

Thanks for confirming. That's what I suspected. I got it sorted at the workshop; the new sensor cost 315€. It's running fine now.
