Did you consider cleaning the radar sensor initially My assumption about cleaning the radar sensor is based on the potential for a non-hardware related cause. Given the interconnected nature of modern vehicle systems, especially those relying on automotive sensors, professional diagnosis is advisable. A workshop can perform radar calibration and pinpoint the root cause more effectively.

Turns out it was just a dirty sensor. 45€ later and its fixed. Thanks

A malfunctioning radar sensor can trigger a cascade of issues due to its integration with various vehicle systems. I experienced a similar situation with my Citan. Was adaptive cruise control affected If so, the radar sensor's role in these systems becomes evident. It's worth investigating whether the sensor's field of view is obstructed or if the sensor itself is compromised. Automotive sensors can be sensitive.
