Citroen C8 electrical faults

Sounds frustrating. Is there an error code stored? I had similar gremlins in my old Volvo – seemingly random system failures. Turned out to be a dodgy connection somewhere in the control module. Did you check the obvious fuses?

So, you mean a control module connection? Is it worth checking the connections myself, or am I better off just taking it to a workshop?

In my case with the Volvo, it needed a scan to pinpoint the faulty module and some electric contact spray. Unless you're comfortable with multimeters and wiring diagrams, a workshop is probably best. They have the right tools.

Thanks, that's helpful. I took it to a garage and they found a defective cable connection to the BUS system, like you suggested. Repair cost 155€. All seems fine now.
