Citroen C8 Mixture Preparation Error

I had similar issues with my C8. Have you checked the intake manifold and throttle body for any blockages or leaks? Also, the mass airflow sensor can sometimes cause these symptoms if it's faulty. A rich mixture could also be a culprit. I would also suggest checking the spark plugs.

In my case, the symptoms were intermittent at first, but gradually became more frequent. I did check the spark plugs, but eventually, a visit to the workshop confirmed a defective injector. A diagnostic test should confirm the issue for you too.
