I'm having a strange undervoltage issue with my 2002 Citroen C8 diesel. The car starts poorly, some systems are failing, the lights are weak or flickering, and the battery seems weak when starting. The car has 62379 km. I suspect it might be related to the battery.

I had a similar problem with my C8 a while back with very similar symptoms. Have you had the battery health checked recently? It could also be an alternator issue, causing insufficient power supply. I suggest investigating voltage drops. How old is your battery?

Thanks! I took it to a local mechanic, and they confirmed it was a defective battery. They replaced it, and everything seems to be working fine now. The repair cost me 290€.
