City tire pressure sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda City hybrid is experiencing a persistent tire pressure light and speedometer error, despite the tires being properly inflated. The issue is identified as a tire pressure sensor fault. A possible cause is a faulty sensor, potentially due to a dead sensor battery. The suggested solution is to have the sensor checked and possibly replaced at a workshop.

Yeah, I used a pressure gauge, and they're at the correct PSI. The error message doesn't specify a particular tire; it just says 'low tire pressure' generally. What was the issue in your case? It's driving me nuts!

Sounds like it could be a faulty sensor. In my case, it turned out the sensor battery had died. It's a pretty common issue. If you have access to a scanner, check the error memory. I ended up having to take it to a workshop; they replaced the sensor, and it sorted it out. It cost me around 280€. Worth getting it checked out.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I'll get it booked in at the workshop and mention the sensor battery. Hopefully, that's all it is. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar TPMS issue with my City. First thing, double-check the pressure in tires with a gauge, not just visually. Are the pressures within the recommended range? Also, does the error specify which tire is the problem?
