Civic AdBlue Tank Constantly Empty

I'm having a nightmare with my 2013 Honda Civic diesel. The AdBlue tank seems to be constantly empty, even though I filled it up recently. I'm getting an error message on the speedometer, and the error memory is storing faults. Now the engine won't even start! Could this be related to the AdBlue issue? Someone mentioned it might be a problem with the output from the tank to the dosing unit. Anyone else experienced this?

Summary of the thread

A 2013 Honda Civic diesel is experiencing issues with the AdBlue tank appearing constantly empty, despite recent refills, leading to error messages and the engine not starting. The problem may be related to the output from the tank to the dosing unit. A suggested solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a professional workshop, as the issue could involve a faulty output or a clogged injector, which requires specialized attention.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Dude, that sounds rough! I had something similar with my Civic (not sure what year yours is, but still). Is the dashboard going nuts with alerts? For me it was the whole emissions control system throwing a fit. Are you sure the AdBlue injector isn't clogged or something?

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, the dashboard is like a Christmas tree right now! I haven't checked the injector, to be honest. Where exactly is that located, and is it something I can easily check myself, or will I need special tools?

Okay, Christmas tree dash... yeah, sounds familiar. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with the injector yourself unless you REALLY know what you're doing. It's a delicate part of the injection system. My advice? Get it to a workshop. Cost me around 250€ to sort out, but at least it's running smooth now. Could be a faulty output. Don't want to risk wrecking your fuel efficiency or failing emissions!

Thanks for the advice! Workshop it is! Sounds like the Ad-Blue output is the culprit as you said. I appreciate the help! At least I have an idea of what I'm looking at cost-wise now.
