Civic Sunroof Not Initialized Error

Hi, I have a 2008 Honda Civic with a gasoline engine. My sunroof is giving me a 'not initialized' error. The sunblind gets stuck, and now the whole convertible top won't open or close at all. The blind also doesn't retract properly anymore. Any ideas? I read something about coding causing issues.
