Thanks for the tip Corrosion on the wiring harness is a good shout When you say 'under load', what sort of load are we talking about Full beam headlights and AC on full blast, or something more specific to the charging system itself

When testing 'under load', I recommend using a diagnostic tool to monitor the charging system's output while simultaneously activating several high-draw components such as headlights, air conditioning, and the rear window defogger The voltage should remain relatively stable; a significant drop indicates a potential issue with the alternator or related components Given the symptoms and the potential complexity of a hybrid system, a thorough diagnostic assessment at a qualified workshop is advisable

Took your advice and had the wiring harness inspected at a trusted workshop Turns out there was a small short circuit due to a chafed wire They repaired the wiring harness and replaced a faulty circuit breaker Total cost was around 290€ Starts like a dream now Thanks for the help

I understand you're experiencing an interrupted terminal 30 continuous plus issue with your 2020 Mercedes CLA hybrid I encountered a similar problem on a BMW 530e In my case, the issue stemmed from corrosion within the wiring harness leading to the auxiliary battery Have you inspected the wiring harness, specifically around connectors or junctions, for signs of corrosion or damage Also, I suggest testing the output of your charging system under load, as a faulty voltage regulator can lead to inconsistent power delivery and battery drain
