Clarity injection nozzle issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Honda Clarity hybrid with nearly 100,000 km exhibited poor starting, increased fuel consumption, reduced engine power, uneven idling, and occasional stalling. These symptoms suggested a potential issue with the injection nozzle, possibly due to clogging or dirt. The problem was confirmed by a mechanic, who identified a dirty injection valve as the cause. After repair, the vehicle's performance improved significantly.

Thanks! No gasoline smell, but the 'check engine' light did come on a few weeks ago, then it went off again by itself. What was the final diagnosis for your car?

Sounds like what happened with my Clarity. Initially, the light would come and go. Eventually, it stayed on. It was indeed the injection nozzle. If the light is on and off, it's getting worse. I would take it to a workshop ASAP. I tried fuel injector cleaner and it didn't help at all.

Thanks! I took it to a mechanic and they confirmed it was the injection nozzle. The repair, including parts and labor, cost me 515€. The mechanic also confirmed that the injection valve was dirty. Now it's running smoothly again.

Hey, I had similar issues with my Clarity. Did you notice any gasoline smell, or the 'check engine' light turned on? I think it's probably clogging. My car had almost the same symptoms.
