Thanks. I've confirmed the fan blade isn't rotating even when the engine gets hot. Can you tell me more about your fan motor issue and what you checked before fixing it?

Mine was completely dead, no spinning at all. A mechanic checked the cooling system and said the motor was shot. I didn't do any testing myself, I just took it straight to the workshop. It was super stressful seeing the car overheat, so I didn't want to mess with it and make things worse. I would suggest taking it in to get it checked out!

The problem was a defective speed sensor affecting the radiator fan. Repair cost about 250€. Your comments confirmed I needed to address the cooling system quickly. Thanks.

Oh my gosh, overheating is the worst! I had something similar happen with my Clarity. The car would just get hotter and hotter, especially in traffic. Did you check if the fan blade is actually spinning freely? Also, when the engine is hot, does the radiator fan turn on at all? Mine wasn't, and it turned out to be a fan motor issue.
