Clarity parking aid fault
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Honda Clarity is experiencing a parking aid fault, rendering the parking assistant non-functional. The issue may be due to a dodgy cable or a loose connection, particularly near the proximity sensors. It is suggested to inspect the connections and the wire loom near the rear bumper for any faults before considering professional repair.

Blind spot sensors seem fine. Where exactly are those proximity sensor connections located? Any specific ones I should be focusing on? I'm not seeing anything obvious.

Yeah, mine were fine too at first. Then BAM. I'd say just check all of them. Honestly, I traced mine back to a faulty wire loom near the rear bumper. Ended up costing me around 95€ at the workshop. Might be worth a look before you dive too deep yourself.

Cheers. Sounds like a good plan. I'll check the connections and loom near the rear bumper. If not, it's off to the shop then. Appreciate the heads up.

I had something similar with my Clarity. Are the blind spot sensors working? When mine went haywire, the whole system glitched out. Check the connections to the proximity sensors first. Could be something simple like a loose plug.
