Clio ABS Fault

Having trouble with my 2020 Renault Clio Hybrid. The ABS lamp is on, and the ABS system seems to be failing. A diagnostic scan shows a lateral acceleration sensor fault, possibly a defective control unit. Has anyone else run into this, especially with the yaw rate or vehicle stability systems? Looking at a 1000€ repair bill, so any insight would be appreciated!

I had a similar issue with my Clio. ABS light coming on, stability control going haywire. It was a pain.

Really? Was it the same lateral acceleration sensor fault? Did the diagnostic scan specifically point to that, or was it more of a general ABS error? Trying to figure out if I'm on the right track before replacing the control unit.

Yep, same sensor. Diagnostic nailed it. Honestly, just take it to a decent workshop. They'll sort it.

Cheers for the confirmation. Seems like my gut feeling was right. Booked it in with a local garage; they're quoting around the same price, so at least I know I'm not getting ripped off. Appreciate the help!
