Clio electrical fault and navigation failure

Hi, I've got a 2009 Renault Clio (gasoline engine) with a general electrical malfunction and a persistent error. The navigation system is also dead. It's done 97845 km, so I'm wondering if it could be a software issue or bad ECU programming?

Sounds like a classic ECU problem. Have you tried checking all the fuses first? Sometimes a voltage drop can cause the control module to throw errors. Also, what's the exact error code you're seeing?

Thanks for the quick reply. I've checked the fuses and they're fine. Which module should I check to get the error code? I have diagnostic tools, but I'm not sure where to look.

If it's affecting multiple systems (electrical, navigation), it’s likely the main ECU. The error code should give you a better idea of what's going on, but honestly, programming implausibility points to needing a software re-flash. Probably best to get it to a workshop. Sounds beyond basic troubleshooting.

I think you're right, it's too complex for me. I'll book it into a workshop to get the software looked at. They quoted around 240€. Thanks for the help.
